YOUR TIME, I'M WASTING CAN'T SAY WHERE WE'VE BEEN
• • • • • • • Piper had a questionable sense of morals, there was no doubt about that, and sometimes they got her into trouble, other times they did not. Like right now for instance, she was currently picking the locks to the universities gym, so that she could go swimming. Now, if Piper was a good girl and not a total bad-ass, daredevil type then she supposed that she could have gone to the local swimming pool, or recreation center and paid some odd amount of money for a few hours of swimming. But she wasn’t really a good girl, so that logically meant she was going to sneak into the closest pool and have a mid night swimming session, for free. It wasn’t that bad anyway, because up until this semester she had attended that school, but then dropped out, so she could just lie and say she was a student there. How was anyone going to know anyway? It was the middle of the freaking night and she was pretty sure that the pool and the gym were going to be completely empty, leaving her with free reign of the place, which was just jim dandy with her.
“Ahah success, you still have it Piper.” She spoke softly to herself as the door to the gym opened with a nice click. Pulling the door open, she peaked her head it and once she decided the coast was clear she crept inside, shutting the door quietly just in case there was actually someone in the gym patrolling, from what she could tell there was no one so she pressed forward. There was minimal light in the building, but enough trickled in from the rooftop windows, from the overflow of the city and not to mention the moon that she could see where she was going. As she walked to the south side of the rec center a strong smell of chlorine started to fill her nose, meaning that she was getting closer to her destination. Finally she came upon the set of doors that had a plaque that said pool, her nimble fingers wrapped around the handle and pulled. “Another success!” Piper whisper shouted to herself as she stepped into the pool area, the smell of chlorine completely overpowering now, in a good way.
Piper walked towards the shallow end of the pool, a small grin coloring her face at the thought of disturbing the perfectly still water with a nice big cannon ball. Piper toed off her shoes before bending over and pulling her socks off and putting them back in her shoes and lining her shoes neatly against the lifeguard sitting area. Next she shimmied out of her shorts, careful not to drop them carelessly as her iphone was in the pocket. After that she pulled off her tank top and tossed it onto the growing pile of her clothing, leaving her in only her undergarments, not that it mattered much seeing as that she was all alone and the chance of anyone showing up was slim to none. Finally, almost after forgetting she took her ring off and placed it on top of the pile before turning and facing the still pool. With a huge grin now on her lips she started running around to the deep end, her bare feet making smacking noises against the cool tile. Without hesitation she climbed onto the diving board, mid run and just kept going, until she got to the end where she made sure to put a lot of energy into the bounce. In the air she wrapped her arms around her legs in perfect cannonball form before dropping into the water with a defining splash and sinking all the way to the bottom before pushing herself back up to the surface. “Fuck yeah, this is the life.” She stated out loud to herself as she now floated on her back in the restless water.

Derrick had just gotten a job as lifeguard at the college pool, he had just closed the pool and hadn't gotten around to locking doors yet. He turned the lights off not wanting to waste any energy. Then he entered the pool and filter room to get some supplies, afterwards he planned to swim some laps before calling it a night. While he was in the room, he heard the diving jump while someone was jumping on it and then a splash in the pool.
He walked out of the room and stood at the edge of the pool, watching a scantily clad woman, probably his age backfloating in the middle of the deep end. As he stood there white faced and practically embarrassed, he thought, "this never happened to me in Illinois" He noticed she had long hair, and because it was wet it was hard to tell what color, she also had a nice figure which made it difficult for Derrick to be too mad.
Remembering his days on the farm skinnydipping in a near by pond, he decided to be good-natured about the woman's intrusion and just sat down by the edge of the pool. He put a smile on his face, and called out, "is this a private party or can I join you" he blushed holding towel so she could cover up if she wanted to.

YOUR TIME, I'M WASTING CAN'T SAY WHERE WE'VE BEEN
• • • • • • • At the sound of a male’s voice she ceased her floating and sunk until her head was just floating above the water as she lazily used her arms and legs to keep her afloat as she flicked her gaze to the boy sitting top side. A small smile pulled at the corner of her lips at his question and she thought for a moment that she could have sworn that his face got slightly darker from a blush, but she couldn’t really tell given the minimal amount of light flowing in from the sky lights. Piper swam towards where the boy was sitting on the edge of the pool, holding onto the edge with her hands as she peered up at the boy curiously, waving off his towel offer; she wasn’t done swimming yet, she just got here. “It’s a free country.” She stated simply in reply to his question as she continued to look up at him, an eyebrow raised. She knew what she was doing in the college pool so late at night, but why was this boy here. He certainly did not look like the type to break the rules, or into a building for that matter, to go for a nice little swim.
“So, good sir, what brings you to the pool so late at night?” she inquired while pushing herself away from the wall slightly, resuming the floating on her back. Piper was very aware that she was only in her undergarments and the boy on the pool deck could easily tell that fact, she just did not really care. She was comfortable with her body and thought she looked darn good, so if she wanted to she would wear things that made her scantily clad; besides it was like a bikini anyway, so what was the real difference? Piper sank under the water for a brief moment, opening her eyes slightly as she swam back to the edge of the pool before surfacing and flicking her long hair out of her face a la little mermaid. A brief entertaining thought crossed her mind as she turned her gaze to the boy, a small smirk playing at her lips. She splashed a bit of water at the boys feet, hoping to get him just a little wet. “I guess I should introduce myself, I’m Piper.”

The woman acknowledged his presence by swimming to the edge of the pool. After she waved off his offer of the towel, Derrick folded it and threw it against the wall. She answered his question and looked at him curiously. Her question came as a surprise to Derrick. Her use of the word sir seemed to acknowledge that he did have some authority in the situation, but may have just been uncertainty. Now that she was closer to him, Derrick saw that she had a very attractive body and a face to match. He knew he was being silly about her being dressed only in her undergarments. If he was honest with him self, bikinis actually showed more than what she was showing now. Still her body was very much a distraction from him doing his job, getting her out of the pool.
"I am getting ready to close the pool for the evening" telling her that he belonged there and did have some authority. As she pushed herself back into the middle of the pool, Derrick thought about what he should do. Protocol told that he should contact campus security, they would come book her for trespassing and things would be over. His mind told him that she was doing nothing more than he was planning and outside of tampering with some locks, no harm was done.
While he was considering what to do the woman swam back to the edge of the pool and flicked some water onto him while introducing herself as Piper. He glanced over and noticed a playful smile. Derrick glanced at the sunroof and seeing the moonlight and lights of Vegas seemingly setting the mood. He glanced back at Piper, and laughed then he dove into the pool and swam next to her, when he surfaced, he light splashed her in the face, "Hi Piper, my name is Derrick"

YOUR TIME, I'M WASTING CAN'T SAY WHERE WE'VE BEEN
• • • • • • • As Piper was floating in the middle of the pool she kept an eye on the boy on the side of the pool, she wasn’t quite sure how the boy was going to handle her little intrusion, so she needed to be wary. He could totally be cool about it, jump on in and then they’d have themselves a nice little swim. Bond of similar topics of interest and become great friends, hell maybe even a little more because the boy was good looking and she was not above blatantly checking him out. Or, on the other hand he could totally be a dick about it, run to the nearest phone and call campus security and then she’d be screwed. If she got caught she’d probably be charged with breaking and entering, or rather unlawful entry since she hasn’t broken anything and then probably a mischief charge, or trespassing. Though, that would never happen because the second that the boy goes for the phone she’d be out of the pool, grabbing her clothes and booking it the hell out of there. She’d be long gone by the time campus security ever got there, they wouldn’t stand a chance finding her after because she knows this city like the back of her hand and can melt away into just about any corner and disappear.
Piper flicked her gaze back to the boy as he spoke, nodding slightly at his statement, only to realize that he probably couldn’t see the motion of her head; and if he did he’d probably think it was just from her trying to float. Still though she didn’t bother to acknowledge the statement with words, she didn’t deem it completely necessary; much like many things in her life. Still though she supposed she should at least make sure that he sees her nods, or looks or anything that can convey her meaning without actually having to speak, because if she was going to have things go her way she had to have the boy like her, or at least tolerate her for the next little while. That’s why the little splash was a bit of a risky move, seeing as if she pissed him off she’d most definitely be hauling ass out of the pool and disappearing into the night with minimal clothing on ;it wouldn’t be the first time she’d done it and it certainly would not be the last. As she peered up at the boy, waiting for his decision she found herself tapping her fingers almost impatiently against the side of the pool, she never did have the patience when it came to other people deciding her next move. Her gaze left the boy for a moment to check that her clothes were still in place and as she did that a splash caused her to whip her head back to the boy, only to note that he was now in the water and introducing himself. A jovial laugh fell from her lips after he splashed water at her, she just loved when things went her way. “Well Derrick, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” She stated before splashing him back and then moving slightly away to tread water, out of a major splash zone. “So Der, closing the pool, you some kinda lifeguard or something?”

Derrick smiled and then joined her with a laugh. He could tell that she had a fun loving personality to go along with her nice figure. The real question after the greetings were finished was what kind of fun and games could they get involved in. He smiled, "Yeah, I am earning extra spending money by lifeguarding, I am also on swim team." Now that he was in the pool with Piper, he wondered how aggressive he should play, but before he decided, Piper splashed him in the face and then moved away. Knowing that she was the one whom had to keep him interested, Derrick decided to play a little cat & mouse with her.
"So are you a student here?" Derrick asked wondering what her story was. Derrick remembered where he was and she was definitely cute enough, but he doubted that the University would cooperate and set one of their students up, but the smile on his face at the thought was obvious. He wiped the thought from his mind and focused his attention back on Piper. He smiled and lunged forward, pushing a large wall of water toward, then retreated, just a little but not far enough away, she couldn't reach him if she really wanted.

YOUR TIME, I'M WASTING CAN'T SAY WHERE WE'VE BEEN
• • • • • • • If Piper had to have guessed she would have figured that the boy, now swimming before her was a lifeguard, if not at least on the swim team. After all, not too many people would sneak into a pool to go swimming, on a spur of the moment type thing like she did. So logically the boy had to have some sort of connection to the pool in order for him to be here so late. Piper nodded in approval, “ahh right on, that’s cool, you get to play the hero and save lives and all of that good stuff.” She commented a small grin on her lips as she bobbed up and down in the water, her gaze never leaving the boy. Until she was relatively certain of his character she was going to play it moderately safe, as she did with almost everyone that she met. In this city you had to be wary of people that you’ve get met, especially at night in interesting situations. Though that’s not to say that she was expecting this kid to try anything, he really didn’t seem the type, but that didn’t mean Piper was going to completely let her guard down.
Piper pushed her long, wet hair from her face as Derrick asked her a question, she smiled. “You bet cha broski.” She lied, though there was little to know way the boy could tell. After all it was a huge campus and there was no way you could know every single person that attended the school, unless you had some sort of super memory that allowed you to remember ever single person that you would have ever seen. One thing Piper learned about lying over the years was never to divulge too much information; you basically wanted to just answer the questions being asked as simply as you could because the more information on the table then the more likely you were going to get caught in a lie. Just as Piper was about to ask him a question he decided to indulge in her game as he pushed a wall of water at her. Piper sunk below the surface as she let the wall of water push her back ever so slightly, resurfacing a few moments later a few feet away from the boy, a pleasant smile on her lips. “Hmm, you better watch yourself; I’ll just have to get you back for that one.” She teased as she swam around in a lazy circle. “Ahh I love swimming. “she stated out loud as she began to float on her back again.

Derrick smiled with Piper when she commented about his saving lives and being a hero. He knew that she was playing him but she was cute, so he would go along with it and see where things might go from there. As Piper bobbed in the water and watched him carefully, he knew that he needed to be careful here. He represented the University and as such he couldn't make any moves that would threaten Piper. He thought for a second, wondering if he should turn the matter over to campus security. All he would have to do his swim to the side, he was certain that in her clothes was a cell phone with which she could make the call. Even if she did escape, they would have an address with which to find her.
Derrick noticed how short her answer was, "So what year and major are you" hoping to keep her talking, showing an interest in her and keeping her talking would fulfill both his curiosity, and responsibility. Derrick wasn't too disappointed that he missed with his splash, but real happy that she trusted him enough to surface next him. Noting the smile on her face, he responded to her challenge with one of his own. "I will watch myself, I look forward to seeing your answer" he smiled with a gleam in his eye. He continued to tread water maintaining his separation from Piper.

YOUR TIME, I'M WASTING CAN'T SAY WHERE WE'VE BEEN
• • • • • • • Piper allowed the corner of her lips to turn up into a slight grin as she was asked what her major and what year she was in, she expected him to ask her something along those lines so she had given it a brief moment of thought so that she would be prepared. "I major in history, I’ve always been fond of it, especially all of the topics about Greek Mythology and stuff. “She explained, almost breaking her cardinal rule about lying. Though, in this particular case she deemed in necessary to give the boy a bit more information because he actually seemed to be paying quite a bit of attention to her. Piper was going to give him enough detail so that it seemed like she actually knew what she was talking about, but not enough for her to get tangled up say something that didn’t correspond with anything else she said. “Oh and I’m in my sophomore year.” She stated while splashing a small amount of water around herself. “How about you bro?” she inquired as she began to tread water some more, no longer on her back.
Piper didn’t fail to notice the almost challenging smile that colored his face as she responded to her slightly jib, which made her grin all the more. “Good, it’s gonna happen when you least expect it.” This was good, as long as he was playing along and seemed interested in her than her swim was going to be nice. However, as soon as he looked like he was becoming bored then it would be her cue to leave; she just hoped that it wasn’t anytime soon, she was actually enjoying the boys company. Without warning she sunk under the surface, opened her eyes and began to swim to the shallow end of the pool, passing right underneath the boys legs. Piper kept swimming under water until she reached the slope where the shallow end began. Surfacing Piper stood up, the water now only reaching her belly button, a small sly grin on her lips as she looked to Derrick, waiting to see if the boy would follow her over.

Derrick listened as she told him her major was history. He had no doubt that she would know her subject since she was whom chose it. But it did offer an opportunity to what Piper valued. And he was taking a class in history at the moment. "So which of the Greek god and goddesses do you most admire?" he asked. "I like Pax, the goddess of peace", he offered with a smile. Knowing that she was a sophmore, probably made her slightly older than him. But he noticed that she began treading water, giving him a nice view of her figure, and at least it seemed that she was interested in him at least a little. Derrick's smile widened, "I am only a freshman", he answered I am in the Business college.
Derrick laughed when she told him that it would come when he least expected it. "I will watch you like a hawk then" Piper then dived under the water and swam to the shallow end of the pool. She stood in hip deep water, and watched him with an expectant grin. Derrick glanced over, there was really no doubt that he would follow her over. First he swam over to the pool deck and put his goggles next to her pile of clothes. He glanced over to see what her reaction would be. He then backstroked over to the shallow end, keeping an eye on where she was, he stopped a respective distance and stood up and stretched. He then looked at Piper and challenged with his eyes.

YOUR TIME, I'M WASTING CAN'T SAY WHERE WE'VE BEEN
• • • • • • • Piper brushed her hands through her hair as he asked what her favourite god or goddess was her favorite, she pursed her lips, trying to think of one. Sure, she had basic knowledge of the most popular ones, Zeuse, Hades, Apollo, Athena, the classics. The only problem was that she wasn’t really sure if she should go the simple, safe route or pick one that would require more than the basic knowledge. “Hmm so many choices, but yeah Pax is a good one, let me get back to you on mine.” She said. Looking back to Derrick as he spoke once again, giving her just a bit more time. A large grin pulled her lips up at the corners as he said he was a freshman, which made her older than him anyway. “aww, that’s adorable, a little freshman, cute really.” She teased playfully.
A small smirk took over her grin at his next comment, “I wouldn’t have it any other way, really.” She stated as she watched him carefully swim to the edge, watching to make sure he didn’t try to pull a fast one and call someone like campus security. She raised an eyebrow as he backstroked the entire length of the pool back to her and then looked at her with an almost challenging look. She waded closer to the boy, a challenging smirk on her lips, “Why Derrick, if I didn’t know any better I’d say you’d like to challenge me to a race of sorts?” she inquired, her tone just this side of mischievous. Now that she was close enough to the boy to poke him, she did just that, dropping her hand down his stomach and back into the water as she held his gaze, her smirk never fading. Without warning she splashed the boy, shouting “Go!” before diving around him and breast stroking towards the deep end, not stopping to look back.

Derrick watched as she appeared to puzzle through his simple question about god and goddesses. He had asked a pretty broad question, but one that would have been discussed in a college level mythology class. She really surprised him when she accepted Pax as a greek god, but he let it go for now, and decided to bring the mythology question more to something he was more interested in, "So do you believe in the Greek myth of Cupid's arrow." He knew at this point she would accept it as a flirty question and when she told him that him being a freshman was cute, he couldn't help but blush. He laughed when she said I wouldn't have it any other way.
When he finally stood up in the shallow end, he watched her slowly walk over to him holding his gaze with her eyes. Derrick as he promised watched her eyes, when he was surprised by her soft hands touching his stomach. He would have laughed, but he began to smile as her hand went downward. The further down her hands got, Derrick actually started moving to hold her hands, but at that point she splashed, and said "go". Derrick laughed at being tricked so completely but knew he would get the last laugh at the other end of the pool. AFter giving her a head start, he dove in and began to swim breast stroke to the other end of the pool. After touching the edge, he reached out and lightly held one of her hands. "I think I won, do I get a prize", he asked with a smile.

YOUR TIME, I'M WASTING CAN'T SAY WHERE WE'VE BEEN
• • • • • • • Piper allowed a small grin to pull her lips up at the boys question, it definitely sounded like a nerdy way of flirting with her, what with the whole her being a Greek Mythology buff and such; she enjoyed it anyway. “Hmm, I would…” she paused to laugh slightly as she detected the faintest colour change in the boys cheeks before continuing. “If Cupid was the Greek version, but he is the Roman version.” She stated, a knowing smirk on her lips. “Eros is the Greek version.” She said, running her hands across the top of the water, briefly looking down before looking back to the boy, a smile on her lips. “But yeah, I believe the lore centered around these two, I think its kinda cute and super romantic.” She stated through a small laugh, that was almost a giggle. Piper was a huge romantic, she just loved the idea of a boy falling in love with a girl and then he does anything that he can to be with her and make her happy. Though she was also a realist in the sense that she knew that rarely ever happened in real life and that it mostly happened in movies.
As Piper swam, trying to reach the end of the pool before the boy she could hear him getting closer as he pushed through the water. Piper could practically feel the water around her getting slightly rougher as he swam beside her and then in front of her to the end of the pool. She gripped onto the edge of the pool, a huge grin on her face as she looked at the boy, who had now taken her hand. “Mhm, a prize eh?” she stated with a raised eyebrow, a small smile touching the corner of her lips. “I suppose its only fair, especially since I let you win anyway.” She teased with a small wink. He had one, it was only logical, he after all was a lifeguard and on the swim team, she was just more of a leisure swimmer. “Did you have anything particular in mind?” she asked, a flirtatious smile now in full bloom on her lips. Piper had a small idea of what the boy would want, but she was always one for little games, made everything more exciting.

Piper's grin made Derrick happy that he took the chance to ask the question. The way she answered the question Derrick saw that she was a romantic. Derrick was too, but he rarely had the success that he was having right now with Piper, or at least he felt that way. It was difficult to judge what was really going on with Piper. He joined her with laughter, as they shared stories together as if they were old friends. He was very happy that she had joined him in the pool, the time that they were sharing together was precious.
After he asked her what the prize was, he was rewarded with a flirtacious smile. She had known that she had entered a fixed race and Derrick grinned happily especially when she asked him what he wanted. The smile on her face said that she would accept almost anything within reason. Derrick wanted to be certain what he wanted was also what she wanted so when she tossed the ball back to him, he put it back in her hands. "I kind of had a slight advantage there" he laughed and smiled, "I would like you to select my prize.

YOUR TIME, I'M WASTING CAN'T SAY WHERE WE'VE BEEN
• • • • • • • Piper raised a delicate eyebrow as the proverbial ball was tossed back into her hands, unusual to her. Most guys by now would have pulled her close, whispered some lame line and then kissed her, thus starting a make out session that usually turned into something more; granted she and the guy were both usually drunk. Piper rarely was involved in any sober games like the one here with Derrick, so she there was a small bit of doubt that clouded her mind, but was easily pushed away as she stared at the boy. She was not in eight grade anymore, where all the boys and the girls were afraid to even look at each other for fear of rejection. She was an adult now and could handle rejection fairly well, besides if she read him wrong, which she didn’t think she could do, then there were always other fish in the sea.
“Hmm, I think I have just the right thing in mind.” she stated, her grin growing ever so slightly as she leaned towards the boy. Piper pulled her hand from his gently before placing it on his shoulder and moving it up his neck to his hair, carefully to keep her free hand on the edge to avoid from sinking. Holding the boys gaze she slowly leaned in and brushed her lips against his, in a slow, sweet kiss before pulling back slightly, a huge grin on her lips. “how was that for a prize?” she murmured softly, her hand tangling in his hair for a moment before she slowly pushed back to give herself some space, no longer touching the boy but still within arm’s reach.
